Air Quality Issues Shut Court Annex

The West Feliciana Parish courthouse annex reopened Tuesday, but Clerk of Court Felicia Ann Hendl moved her employees to the old courthouse Wednesday because of continuing concerns about the building’s air quality.

CO2 Buildup Afflicts Courthouse

A buildup of carbon dioxide appears to have caused workers in the West Feliciana Parish courthouse annex to become ill last week, Parish Manager Ambrose Sims said.
The courthouse was closed at 10 a.m. Thursday and remained closed Friday and Monday while air quality specialists and other experts studied the problem.

Courthouse Closes After Employees Fall Ill

The West Feliciana Parish courthouse has seen its share of problems, and now another one has popped up. The new annex has been closed again after 10 employees reported being ill this week. The same thing happened twice earlier this year, when a handful of employees became sick.
